The Role

The Training Compliance Manager works in collaboration with the Fleet Recruitment, Onboarding and Rotation teams to deliver unforgettable holiday happiness to our guests & support delivery of the required number of safe & compliant crew to the business.

Responsible for the scheduling, utilisation and fulfilment of training compliance for our fleet. They are passionate about the ‘crew journey’ to a ship for both our new and returning colleagues and are ‘customer centric’ in their approach

  • Ensure policy and procedures are crew focused and strive to improve the crew experience of training compliance, providing support and knowledge to all crew.
  • Maintain full training compliance of the Fleet through effective use of CUK training matrices, course priority lists and training reports
  • Take a future focused approach to manage and mitigate compliance risks through analysis of issues and data associated with mandatory, compliance and operational training requirements. Effectively and clearly communicate training compliance risk.
  • Identify the opportunities for cost containment across the training compliance function. Support budget holders to accurately forecast training spend, key SME for internal and external audits, CUK audits and inspections


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with at least two days based in our Southampton office.



About You

  • Appropriate experience with robust track record
  • Good knowledge of Maritime Training requirements
  • A passion for customer service, placing the crew member at the forefront of all Training Compliance activity
  • Experience and track record of managing compliance and governance processes and procedures.
  • Comfortable working in both a reactive and proactive space.
  • Well established stakeholder engagement skills with effective communication approaches.
  • Passionate about team growth and development with a well-developed coaching style
  • Experience of managing a team in a fast paced and dynamic Operational environment
