This part-tme (0.8 FTE) post is available from 1st August 2023 on a permanent basis.


This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.


Summary of the role

Public Health and Sport Science is a newly established department in the Faculty of Health and Life Science. The role of the Department Administrator is to provide essential frontline and high quality administrative support to academic leaders within key departmental/local governance priorities.


The role ensures the frontline delivery of professional services in a timely manner ensuring that business is delivered to deadlines. The successful candidate will have excellent administration and organisational skills, and prior experience of providing administrative and ideally project admin support. The ability to prioritise a demanding workload and to work independently is crucial along withcompetent in managing their own time
