Receptionist Role and Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients, providing a friendly but professional first impression
- Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the management and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Making patients aware of dental services and offers
- Handling payments
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining client confidentiality
- Assist in reception admin tasks
- Carry out banking duties such as end of day cashing up
- Uphold practice policies, procedures and values
- Manage social media and marketing for the practice
Your Skills and Experience
- Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Well-mannered
- Excellent telephone manner
- Previous administration or medical/dental reception experience (3 years preferably but will consider less for the right applicant)
- Personable, positive and enthusiastic with great customer focus
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel)
- Preferred SOE (Exact) Experience
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Dental nursing experience with active GDC registration highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
