The Representation & Democracy Team exists to empower students at Sheffield Hallam to make a difference to all aspects of students’ lives. We equip students with skills and networks to ensure that students can have a meaningful say on any decision is made that affects Hallam students, whether at the University, or in the local area.
We are recruiting for a Democracy Lead.
As Democracy Lead, you’ll be responsible for delivering and enhancing the Union’s democratic processes, allowing us to effectively listen to our members and act on what’s important to them. You’ll also play a key role in supporting our six-strong Elected Officer team, and other voluntary Representatives, to improve the student experience. You will also lead on the delivery of our elections and referenda and will service a number of key student-led Union meetings, helping students to turn their ideas into concrete change within the Union and beyond.
