We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Demi chef de partie to join us. We are Bokan, located in Canary Wharf Novotel Hotel, known for artisanal food & drink made using a mixture of local, ancient and adopted British ingredients.
Job description:
To ensure that production is correctly executed and that products comply with the technical sheet and the specific presentation standards.
Controls rigorously raw material stocks, ensuring minimum food wastage.
Is able to adapt your cooking style to your local environment and is willing to help your colleagues at busy times if required.
Maintains a detailed Knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain and communicate dish descriptions to all relevant personnel.
Commis Chef is responsible for producing a mise en place.
