Centre for Applied Dementia Studies
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health and / or social care professional with a keen interest in the training and education of health and social care staff working with people living with dementia to join out internationally renowned, award-winning Centre for Applied Dementia Studies as a Dementia Care Trainer. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and skills through the development, delivery and evaluation of high quality, research informed short courses and bespoke training and consultancy projects to health and social care staff throughout the UK and internationally.
The post holder will have knowledge of person-centred dementia care and experience of supporting people living with dementia. The post holder will have experience of developing training materials, delivering these to health and social care staff to develop their knowledge and skills and evaluating the impact of the training. The individual will be required to have excellent organisation, time management, planning and communication skills.
