We are looking for a permanent, full-time Demand Planner to join our Demand Planning team. Using your experience within supply chain you will have responsibility for the development, provision, and interpretation of the forecast for the wider business. You will challenge existing practices and use a logical approach to problem solve; supporting the team with performance matters and providing advice on areas to focus on.

About our role:
We are expanding our team, due to an increase in our volumes. You will have the responsibility to analyse and recommend changes to the forward forecast, using data derived from internal systems and externally using the major retailer’s systems. You will be responsible for maximising and communicating the forecast accuracy of their respective accounts to the business. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather market intelligence, sales data, and historical trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
An example of the role responsibilities may include:
- Make logical forecast changes by obtaining customer data, for example, stock holding information and distribution data from external customer websites.
- To deliver and communicate a robust forecast to the business.
- Support the Senior Demand Planner with producing and maintaining a suite of daily, weekly and monthly internal reports and circulate.
- Analyse and report on forecast accuracy
- Manage and track depot and store stocks to improve forecast accuracy.
- Complete seasonality profiling as required.
- Manage any irregular order patterns for example, promos, range reviews, re-stocks etc.
The hours are 36.25 per week, Monday to Friday. Our core business hours are 9 to 5pm, but we can offer some flexibility around your start and finish times if needed.
About you:
You will be passionate about and have knowledge of the following role requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of FMCG market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
