Quorn Foods are currently recruiting for a Demand Planner to join our expanding team based in Leeds.
The Role
Our Demand Planning function plays an integral role in managing the sales, volume & value forecasting process for our customers. Linking the operations of various internal functions such as Sales, Operational Planning & Supply Chain - you will work closely with these departments and the Demand Planning Manager to run and continuously improve the monthly demand review process.
The role will be responsible for organising weekly and monthly forecast information, identifying both potential risks and opportunities with external customers, collaboratively agreeing on volumes, sales forecasting and promotions.
The successful applicant will:
- Previous background in a supply chain or demand planning focused role - ideally within an FMCG business
- Be numerate & computer literate with excellent analysis skills via programmes such as Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with an ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external functions
- Hold an understanding on supply chain operations and customer service
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
