Job description
- Act as the critical link within Service Operations to Demand Planning, Production planning, Repair Operations and the Business Units to set priorities and supply strategies.
- Own service operations' supply commitment for boards, systems and server products to fulfill RMA demand and RMA warehouse stocking.
- Work with the production and factory teams to reduce excess, coordinate with the production planning team on alternate part/part numbers, and work with the BU on demand and flexibility trade-offs to ensue every additional liability generated has been carefully weighed.
- When there are capacity, material, or production issues that will prevent satisfying all demand, you will be working with the Planning team’s person in charge to determine tradeoff options and work with internal partners to craft an efficient solution.
- Analyze demand shortfalls and changes in supply to prepare a weekly supply summary.
- Liaise with Repair Operations to ensure we maximize the usage of refurbish material in a timely manner.
- Act as the support person for the factory, the Factory Planning team and the Production Planning team, and address their questions on service supply related issues.
- You'll work with the program managers & engineers to develop ramp plans for products from early-stage sampling to production. You will coordinate the transition plan of product revisions based on customer qualification schedules and supply availability.
- You will use your SAP planning skills to help with all supply related matters (from PO approval, PO generation, PO Maintenance to PO delivery)

- 5+ years of working experience in the service planning field, preferably planning in SAP
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or relevant areas or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills - Proven track record to document, automate and improve processes and inspire changes cross-functionally to get the results.
- Proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, MRP – Excellent analytical skills and hands-on with excel to analyze and manipulate data - formulas, pivot tables. Ability to write excels macros is a plus.
- Language: Excellent English skills on reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Personality: highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter and collaborator with a strong sense of ownership.
- To demonstrate consistently the ability to drive solutions to real world operational problems that hinder our ability to hit the goals.
- To lead internal and external team members with interpersonal skills to establish preventive action plans that can improve the overall performance of the company.
- Capability to independently analyze and understand problem at hand and derive meaningful plan for improvement and influence management decisions.
- Experience with Service planning systems (Prophet by Baxter)
- Direct experience with build-to-order and configure-to-order products and associated supply-chain.
