About the Role

Casetext is looking for a demand generation leader to manage our external prospecting funnel, including the relationship with our external PPC agency, the annual media spend budget, email programs and the creative campaign process to drive conversions throughout the funnel and sales process. The Head of Demand Generation will lead the strategic direction of our campaigns, including tracking and reporting. This position will work closely with product marketing, content marketing, digital and creative teams to design and implement compelling campaigns including identifying relevant prospecting audiences and segments, retargeting opportunities, nurture programs and downstream sales assets. A successful candidate will have the experience and skills to work independently to bring their ideas and innovations to life via a fully collaborative style and be part of the holistic strategy the Marketing Team is working to build together. This role is entirely remote, but you must be based in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S.

As the Head of Demand Generation, You Will:

  • Own the relationship with our PPC agency who is managing our spend and running the day-to-day optimizations of our PPC campaigns.
  • Manage the performance metrics of our paid media program, liaising with the agency for all creative needs (ad refreshes, new offers, improving automated marketing workflows, etc.), and working to bring on new channels and audiences.
  • Manage email channel in conjunction with our marketing team members to develop compelling campaigns and customer promotions to meet our revenue goals.
  • Partner with internal marketing teams to deliver effective content for digital demand generation programs, supporting each stage of the buyer journey for targeted personas
  • Partner with the creative agency to request all creative needed, and manage the process, schedules, and requirements.
  • Create impactful nurture programs to improve conversion rates from leads to opportunities.
  • Measure and analyze performance across all external channels, creative, offers, and audiences.
  • Partner with marketing team to track effectiveness and conversion metrics all the way through the sales cycle to closed deals.
  • Implement and continually test new creative messaging, landing pages, campaigns, and tools.
  • Drive rapid but well-structured campaign testing designed to validate the potential of digital channels and audiences.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

About You:

  • 10+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Experience with all major ad platforms including Facebook, Google Ads, and LinkedIn so you can successfully manage our PPC agency relationship.
  • Experience with direct response / digital marketing creative - knowing what works and why.
  • Able to drive creative test ideas based on your knowledge of marketing and the platforms on which were running.
  • Experience with automated marketing systems and triggered workflows.
  • Experience and skills with Google Analytics and Marketing Automation systems like Hubspot or similar, tracking and monitoring spend, CPA/CPL, attribution, and campaign metrics.
  • Proven track record of successful online and email marketing campaigns and experiments - owning campaign performance and adjusting tactics to meet goals and budgets.
  • Experience managing & leading a team
  • Bold and creative thinker with a relentless drive to beat the control.
  • Impeccably organized. You will be responsible for creating and managing calendars, working backwards to ensure deadlines make sense.
  • Excellent communicator

Salary Range: $165-$185k
