As a drivers mate you will be responsible for the customer element of all deliveries – being friendly and upbeat as well as assisting with the lifting, shifting and construction of items. You don’t need any specific experience just the right attitude and we can teach you the rest!
The role:
4 day working week – 48-hour week with no Sundays!
Unrivalled salary - £28,346 per annum
Working as a 2-person delivery team delivering and constructing items in customers' homes (don’t worry we provide full training!)
Responsible for calling customers ahead of time to advise of ETA and carry out pre delivery assessment of the property
Accurately record delivery outcomes on to Flexi Pod system
Complete risk assessments on arrival to customer property checking for potential hazards
Communicating with clients and head office to advise of any difficulties during delivery or installation
Always providing a first-class customer service experience
The Person:
This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – essential that you are physically able to lift items
Previous experience in assembly and fitting is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
Ability to multitask and problem solve
DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
