Position: Delivery Driver’s Assistant/Demonstrator
Hours: 9:00am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £21,000 per annum plus company bonus (circa £25,000 pa)
Area: Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Ableworld, due to the growth of its business, is seeking to recruit a Delivery Driver's Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the Driver with deliveries. This position is available for the Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate must be willing to carry out demonstrations of power chairs, mobility scooters and other mobility equipment ordered by the customers in their homes or nursing homes. This role is unlike any typical delivery driver's role, as you will also be involved in installations of the equipment and products.

Duties will include:
· Transferring stock between stores, making deliveries to customers, promoting a high level of customer service in a polite and professional way, and completing required paperwork on a tablet for customers, stores, and Head Office.
· Responsibility for demonstrating products to customers in their homes and care homes. This involves being knowledgeable about the products and being able to explain their features and benefits in a clear and concise manner. The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with customers.
· Ensuring all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner, while also providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will need to have a clean driving license and be able to navigate their way around the local area.
· Completing required paperwork on a tablet for customers, stores, and Head Office. This involves ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. The successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

· Someone with a mature and responsible outlook on life who enjoys interacting with people of all ages. The ideal candidate should be energetic and flexible in their approach to work, as this is a varied role that requires adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
· A confident communicator with an enthusiastic and positive manner is also essential for this job. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service, organisational, and problem-solving skills to ensure that customers are satisfied and their needs are met.
· At ease using technology, especially a tablet, to complete the required customer form is an added advantage. The candidate should be comfortable with using technology and willing to learn new systems and processes.
