Delivery Driver / Nursery Worker Broadstairs, England
Job description
We need a Delivery driver to support our other driver and when necessary working onsite doing maintenance/ nursery work for a busy Garden Centre / Nursery in Broadstairs.
You will be delivery driving between approx May-Aug and as back up driver the rest of the year round. When you are not driving you will be doing site maintenance which may involve cementing, digging, building or assisting our production team with putting plants down in the greenhouse, weeding etc. The job is a varied role where you will never be bored.
Experience in site maintenance advantage but not necessary
Needs to have good customer service skills as will be delivering to the public as well as commercial properties including our branch in Deal.
Must be fit and able to carry heavy items such as bags of compost.
Commercial driving experience and knowledge of the local roads an advantage but not necessary.
Must have a Full Clean Driving licence.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:30 though you will need to be flexible if the business needs arise and be able to work various weekends if and when required.
