Position: Delivery Driver/Demonstrator
Hours: 09;00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £21,500 per annum plus company bonuses (circa ££25,800)
Area: Lincoln and Newark area
Main Purpose of the Role:
Ableworld are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic Delivery Driver to deliver mobility products to customers’ homes in the Lincoln and Newark areas. The role is unlike any typical delivery driver’s role, as this role will require you to carry out demonstrations of power chairs, mobility scooters and other mobility equipment ordered by customers, in their homes or Care/Nursing homes; you will also get involved in installations of the equipment and products.
You will sometimes have the support of a Store staff member who will assist with deliveries and loading and unloading of any heavy items where required. Throughout your working day you will be interacting with customers, so we are looking for an individual who has good customer service skills, is highly organised and enjoys working with people of all ages.
Duties will include, assisting with:
· The transfer of stock between stores
· Delivering products to customers' homes and Care/Nursing homes etc
· Undertaking demonstrations and installations of mobility products
· Promoting a high level of customer service in a polite and professional way
· Completing required paperwork and forms (on a phone) for stores and Head Office
· Taking payments onsite using a card terminal or cash / cheque handling when necessary
Skills and Experience – you will:
· Be someone with a mature, responsible outlook on life who enjoys engaging with people of all ages
· Be energetic and flexible in their approach to work, as this is a varied role
· Be a confident communicator with an enthusiastic and positive manner
· Have excellent customer service, organisational and problem-solving skills
· Be confident in using technology (tablet) to complete the required customer forms

A permanent position will be subject to a clear DBS check for which Ableworld UK Ltd will meet the cost and completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
A full valid driving licence is essential for this role as a van will be provided for business use. Appropriate PPE will also be provided.
