The Food Prep and Delivery Driver works as part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a new, modern, well-equipped commercial kitchen. This position is responsible for delivering and serving meals at assigned buildings with the utmost concern for food safe practices and customer service. This position also assists with service during meal times, interacts with the tenants, and helps with cooked and non-cooked food preparation where required.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in small and large quantity food service environment.- Completed Grade 12
Requirements
Valid Driver’s Licence and clear Driver’s Abstract.- Food Safe Level 1.
- Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
Job Information
Hourly Wage Rate $24.56 - $28.16.- Days of Work Varied, per program needs.
- Shift Time 10:00am - 6:00pm.
- Total Weekly Hours: Varies.
- Union BCGEU.
- Work Location Various locations.
- Benefits This position will receive 10.2% on top of gross earnings in lieu of vacation and statutory holidays.
Candidate upon hire may be eligible to transfer the hours worked with other Community Social Services Agencies under the Retention and Portability memorandum. Some restrictions may apply.
