Job description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Mail Carrier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting and delivering mail to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage a route. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the public, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
- Sort mail for delivery.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses.
- Collect payments for postal services.
- Maintain accurate records of mail delivery and collection.
- Ensure that all mail is delivered in a timely manner.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding postal services.
- Maintain the security of the mail and packages being delivered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
