Job description
Purpose:
Sort and distribute interoffice mail, x-rays, and packages.
Responsibilities:
Sort and distribute interoffice mail, x-rays, and packages.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly answer all pages and take appropriate action to take care of urgent deliveries.
- Organize mail for delivery to various drop off/pick up sites around the UPMC .
- Sort all interoffice and incoming US mail as required.
- Complete compliance training as well as hospital and department fire/safety and infection control training and maintain current knowledge of safety procedures within the hospital and department.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Follow the schedule set by the Office Manager and Administrator of Operations.
- Pick up and distribute clean lab coats on assigned days.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Driver's License
