Delivery Driver for Private Dental Laboratory
Location - Daily deliveries across Greater Manchester and Liverpool
We are looking for a full-time, reliable delivery driver to join our friendly, hardworking and busy dental laboratory based in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
You will be delivering and collecting jobs to an established client base of dental surgeries, predominantly based across Greater Manchester, but also covering several surgeries in Liverpool.
Job requirements/ role:
- Delivery requirements vary each day and you will be provided with a schedule each morning .
- Start time is typically between 8am - 9am, depending on the requirements of the round each day.
- Full-time hourly contract, Monday to Friday inclusive.
- As the round varies each day, so do the required working hours. Typically, between 6 - 8 hours (but this may vary).
- A company car is provided
- Hours to be recorded on a timesheet to be paid monthly
- Paid per hour worked at £10.50 p/h
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
Person Requirements:
- Must have a valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying orders
- Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively
