Job Description
As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to various locations, on a multidrop basis to pick up and deliver items to customers. You will be expected to work diligently and efficiently to meet the daily delivery requirements while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional driving environment. The job is run on a self employed basis so you would need to be able to do your own tax return or find someone that can help you do it.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Transporting and delivering items to customers on scheduled routes
- Inspect vehicles prior to your day for any damage
- To provide a safe service under time restrictions
- Comply with local driving laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain good communication with management on routes and identify potential issues or problems
- To present yourself and your vehicle in a clean manor for work
- Report any damages or incidents to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
We are looking for someone who can work independently as well as part of a team. Someone who is organized, detail oriented, able to multitask, have great customer service skills, work well under pressure, and have a positive attitude.
The ability to work a smart phone and certain route apps is a preferred but not essential as training will be given.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £150.00 per day
