Avaliable Job Today Tipples Catering Hire is seeking a full time Delivery Driver.
Tipples specialises in the supply of catering equipment on a hire basis. Caterers and event organisers order plates, glassware and cooking equipment, which we deliver and collect in Shropshire and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate should be:
- Enthusiastic, polite and well presented
- Be thorough in their work and have good attention to detail
- Hold a full UK Driving License for at least 2 years and be comfortable driving a long wheel based van
- Be flexible when working schedules change and have good time keeping
- Be reliable and have the ability to work both in a team and alone
Your role will involve but not limited to:
- Delivering crockery, glassware, cutlery, furniture, fridges and cooking equipment to marquees and venues and collecting after their use.
- Checking of orders ensuring that all items are loaded and returned
- Ensuring that electrical and gas appliances are in working order upon delivery
- Counting orders back in accurately and keeping paper work organised
- Basic maintenance of vehicle and cleanliness
- Some general cleaning, painting etc during quieter periods of the year
This role will primarily be a Monday to Friday role, however the occasional weekend work and overtime will be required at peak times of the year. Regular 7am starts in the summer with a 9am start during the winter months.
Please note that lifting on a daily basis will be required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
