Customer Delivery Operative (Driver) £28,500 salary per year
Customer Delivery Operative, full time, Great Barford, Bedfordshire

In this role you will:
- Take pride in being responsible for ensuring customers receive the hire equipment they have ordered, or collected, on time and in a positive, friendly manner
- Ensure we meet our target of 98% on time delivery
- Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as needed
- Load and unload THX’s hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniques
- Follow safe working processes while driving and loading/unloading
- Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met
- Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment
- Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations
- Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team.
It is essential that you have:
- Experience of providing excellent customer service
- A valid, clean UK Driver’s licence for manual vehicles
- Experience of driving and delivering goods
- Familiarity with IT and navigation systems.
Our shifts are from 5.30am to 4.00pm and 6.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, and sometimes overtime is required to meet customer needs.
