Park Transport Team Member
Earnings of £10.18 - £10.42 per hour
Permanent, flexible hours contract
Our team at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are currently recruiting for Park Transport Team Members to join the team.
Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is undoubtedly one of the UK’s hidden gems that really should be on everyone’s ‘must do that’ list. Spanning 600 acres of beautiful countryside, with stunning views, Port Lympne is the only wild animal park in Europe to offer unique short breaks, where guests can wake up surrounded by animals, go on safari, enjoy once in a lifetime animal encounter, and most importantly be part of real conservation in action.
As a Park Transport Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring both smooth and consistent services across a diverse range of guest and event transport requirements around the park. This includes daily guest transport in the form of the Gatehouse Shuttle and Guest Shuttle, as well as providing high quality transport services during weddings and events. Our Transport Team is key to ensuring we create memorable experiences that matter.
Who we are looking for:
This role would be ideal for someone who is already working and/or looking for additional hours on an ad-hoc basis, as and when required. You will have a passion for outstanding customer service, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively, under pressure. You will have good time keeping, and will have the ability to communicate with a diverse customer base.
It is essential for you to hold a full valid UK driving license, and would be desirable for you to have experience driving a variety of vehicles, including vans and Land Rovers and golf buggies – although full training will be provided. Knowledge of our park and the work of the Aspinall Foundation is also desirable.
Contract information:
Basic rate of pay is £10.18 for under 21’s and £10.42 for over 21. Working hours are on a flexible hour’s basis, as per the roster. The shift times may vary i.e.: either early start or late finish. This will include weekends and Bank Holidays. All applicants must have right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
