Job description
St Michael’s Hospice Retail Company is responsible for the operation of the chain of St Michael’s Hospice charity shops and its Donation Centre. We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Retail Collection & Delivery Driver. You will have experience of driving a van up to 3.5 ton as you will be delivering stock to our shops and collecting cash, returns and recycling as part of a 2 person team in addition to offering holiday/sick cover for the furniture delivery & Collection drivers.
As you will be working within a team you will have good communication and organisational skills and demonstrate high levels of customer service to our donors, volunteers and staff. On occasion you may have to work on your own and therefore need a high level of self-motivation. You need to be flexible to cover holidays, sickness and changing business needs. There may be some evening and weekend work to support retail events for which you will receive time off in lieu.

This position is based at our Donation Centre, where there is a free car park.
Please note if a vacancy is part time the salary will be pro rata.
