Delivery Driver – Non Commercial - Forest Park GA
About The Position
As a Non CDL Driver you will have a wide variety of responsibilities to ensure our customers receive the best of the very best with each order! We provide the freshest and finest produce to restaurants and are looking for someone who enjoys being organized, excellent customer service and practicing safe driving while delivering to our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Pull product to be delivered according to the invoice.
- Check quality of product for freshness.
- Load product unto delivery vehicle.
- Use hand truck to unload product at customer location.
- Count and verify product at customer location.
- Maintain paperwork and collect any payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck at the end of shift.
- Maintain communication with warehouse, customer service and sales.
Job Requirements:
About You
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. and use of a handcart.
- Ability to read English and have basic Math skills.
- Hold a valid Georgia drivers’ license with clean driving record.
- Prior experience delivery to customers and meet delivery time windows.
- Ability to work in cool to cold temperatures while loading and unloading product.
- Ability to recognize and report any mechanical vehicle issues.
- Ability to work an early Day Shift, 5 days per work with weekend availability, Shifts are typically 10 hours per day, Overtime is required based on business necessity.
