Role overview
We are looking for the successful candidate to join our team of professional removals. The role includes excellent customer service, being client-facing, priding ourselves in offering the highest quality service. The role will include the removal of domestic home removals as a driver/removal porter.
The Candidate will be working as part of a team, leading by example. The successful candidate will be expected to work with professionalism, honesty, and transparency. Jobs vary from:
· Dismantling and re-assembling of furniture
· Loading and unloading vans at new destinations, whilst following client instructions.
. Local and long distance removals
As a team player, becoming a valuable member of the team, can lead to further prospects within the company. Days start and finish times may vary according to the removal system of buying and selling property.
What is the working environment like?
This is a hard, working environment working within the time restraints of buying property. With lifting, packing boxes, and unpacking of vans, following the instructions of clients at new destinations. Days can start early and finish late. The average week working 30 hours plus per week. There can be down time through the day whilst we wait for the solicitors and collecting keys for the receiving property.
Main duties / responsibilities include
The requirements of the job include:
· Driving/Packing Vehicles
· Being responsible for Vehicle/Load/Crew Safety
· Being honest, transparent, responsible, and professional to clients
· Have an excellent attitude towards client property
· Good timekeeper
· Good team player
· Ability to work the most effective manner loading/unloading vans.
· Full UK drivers’ license
· Previous experience desired.

· Punctual being a good timekeeper

Desirable / Essential experience / qualifications
· Previous moving experience would be advantageous

Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
