Job description
Pieces For Places are looking for a deliveries and warehouse operative, 2/3 days a week. Working out on the road or in the warehouse. Delivering and assembling furniture, receiving stock and keeping the warehouse tidy and organised.
Must be able to work long hours on delivery days.
This Logistics/caretaker type position could potentially be full time by itself for the right candidate. Could potential be linked to our Part-time Sales Assistant Role also.
Basic Requirements for Deliveries and Warehouse Operative:
Confident driving big vans.
Very organised
Strong enough to lift heavy objects
Self motivated
DIY skills
Presentable
Essential Duties:
- Prepare, pack and deliver orders according to customer specifications
- Keep stock of products by following proper storage procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Receive, process and store incoming products
Other Skills:
- Proven experience as warehouse worker (preferred)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Salary negotiable based on experience and competence.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week
Salary: £7.60-£11.00 per hour
