Job description
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to customer locations in a timely and safe manner. This position requires a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills, and the ability to read maps and follow directions. The Delivery Driver must also be able to lift and carry heavy packages, as well as provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
- Collect payments for delivered items.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and notify appropriate personnel of any needed repairs or maintenance.
- Comply with all applicable traffic laws.
