Job description
We are looking for experienced self employed/employed Van Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to customers homes, working alone or part of a 2 person team, ensuring that all items are securely loaded and unloaded, and maintaining the cleanliness of the van. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills, and the ability to follow directions accurately. Must be of a clean and smart appearance, reliable and have great customer service skills. Must have transport to get to site as most days start at 6am. Weekends and overnights available.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a van safely and responsibly.
- Maintain the van in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo from the van.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the van.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-50 per week
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
