We are NJDS Inc. We are a transportation logistics company with an established presence in the courier industry for over 20 Years. We provide exclusive service for FedEx Ground. We run a large-scale courier operation covering most of the Niagara region. This is an expanding industry with lots of growth, we at NJDS strive to uphold quality operations while meeting and overcoming the demands of this demanding industry.
Currently we are looking to fill multiple part-time and full-time positions.
Experience in the courier industry and experience driving commercial vehicles is a must. Experience driving manual is a bonus. We are hiring full size truck couriers as well as cargo van couriers.
Courier duties include being responsible for the safe transport of deliveries and pickups to both residential and commercial customers. You will be assigned a specific truck or van and expected to perform daily pre-trip inspections on this vehicle. As a courier, you will be responsible to service a specific delivery route. Employees must be flexible, quick learners and able to adapt to high pressure situations. We provide all the tools and training for the job. Organize yourself for success in the morning and complete your day in the most safe and efficient way possible. Safety and professionalism is a top priority.
Requirements:
VALID G class License
CLEAN drivers abstract
CLEAN criminal background
Ability to lift up to 75lbs and maneuver with the use of tools up to 150lbs
Safe driving practices and skills
Experience in the courier industry
Experience driving a commercial vehicle
Positive customer service
Good sense of direction and the ability to read a map
Positive attitude
Ability to adapt and overcome
