Delivery Driver – Hull

Full-time self-employed driver positions with McA Logistics partnering with Amazon (DSP2.0) (based in North Ferriby near the Humber Bridge).

Responsibilities:

• Load vans and deliver packages by driving and stepping in and out of the vehicle safely
• Adhere to all safety regulation on the road
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
• Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude

Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age with a current manual car licence, no less than 2 years driving experience and have 6 points or less.
• Must not have been disqualified from Driving
• Be prepared to work weekends, into evenings and Bank Holidays
• We deliver 7 days a week including bank holidays and rota drivers accordingly. Start times vary and are currently around 11am in the morning.
• Independent problem solver with good communication skills
• Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23 kgs).
• Routes are scheduled for 9 hours per day including 60 minutes of breaks and the day can be between 8 to a maximum of 10 hours
• All drivers are subject to a DBS and a drug and alcohol test. MCA Logistics operates equal opportunities and non-discrimination policies.
• This is a physically demanding role; candidates must be able to load and deliver high volumes of parcels daily.
