Job description
We are looking for Minibus Drivers to join our friendly and expanding team based in Rochester. You will be working with one of the UK’s leading school transport services on behalf of the Medway Council.
You'll need a D1 Licence Entitlement, if you passed your driving test before 2009 you will have this as standard!
Working alongside a Passenger Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting and taking clients to and from specific locations within the Medway area. This role will include transport to and from several day cares and schools, therefore it is important that you are able to support passenger's emotional and physical needs whilst prioritizing safety.
We have the following shifts available working on a full time temp to perm basis:
- This is a Monday-Friday position.
- The hours are worked on a split shift
- starting at 6:45am/7:00am finishing your morning at 10:00am
- The second half of your shift will start at 14:00pm/14:30pm finishing your day at 17:00pm.
- This is a minimum of 6 hours a day.
There are options for you to work either the morning or evening shifts if less hours are desirable to you!

What we need from you:
- Some experience in caring for children or adults is desirable but not essential
- Minibus Drivers must had a D1 licence (we accept grandfather rights – check the back of your licence, you could have a D1 without knowing!)
- We need a friendly and dependable face for company.
- All candidates must undergo a DBS check before starting this position
- This is a customer facing role, so presentation and a good attitude are essential!
