Lynx Dry Cleaning Supplies supply a vast array of ever-growing product lines to the Laundry & Dry Cleaning Industry.
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client. Drivers complete maximum 14 drops per day.
To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying customers.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers and businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Accepting payments for delivered items.
- Accepting returns from customers and liaising with office staff to process
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 5 years driving experience
- Experience required, however full training will be given
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items.
- Attention to detail
£11.50 per hour / 25,500 per year. Pay review after 6 months with the possibility to increase to £12.00 per hour.
You will receive a company van with paid diesel to work with and you will also be allowed 30 private miles at the weekend.
Lynx Dry Cleaning Supplies is based in Hainault, Essex. This is 42.5 hours per week permanent contract and working days are Monday – Friday. Please contact us for further information.
