Description
The main responsibilities of this role are to deliver all company orders to the end customer as per the scheduled delivery times in acceptable condition and then securing the site by locking up and setting the alarms. Also, maintaining the L’Occitane vehicle to ensure safe operation while providing a positive customer service experience. The job offers flexible working times but can be physically demanding and involves carrying boxes up and down stairs at certain locations.

What Will You Do?
- Safety checks and basic maintenance of vehicle including cleaning
- Fuel log updated - fuel card (receipts kept in the van with mileage)
- Ensure all customer deliveries are made as per the delivery schedule overnight
- Securing the delivery location - lock up and set alarms
- Collections as required
- Checking delivery notes are correct and match box qty’s and delivery information
- Checking off all consignments prior to loading
- Ensuring all signed manifests are returned to the warehouse
- Loading of vehicle for next day’s deliveries
- General warehousing duties when not driving (this is very rare).
The Perfect Candidate:
- Planning & Prioritizing - Is able to follow clear instructions to achieve targets.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making - Seeks advice and guidance when unsure of appropriate action.
- Managing Change - Responds well to change and accepts it as opportunity to improve
- Full UK Driver’s license – min 2 years
- UK familiarization pass for non UK license holders
- Accurate and numeric
- Excellent customer service skill
- Min 1 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably but not a necessity)
- Responsibility - this role requires evening lone working with key holding responsibilities
