Due to continued growth, Kloeber are recruiting for a full time and permanent delivery driver to join our warehouse and logistics team based out of our Headquarters in Huntingdon.
A knowledge of windows and doors would be an advantage but not essential. You will be required to deliver bespoke, high value items to our customers, clients and field based teams on site.
Experience
- The role will be client facing so a client friendly, outgoing and personable nature will be essential. Offer excellent customer service, with a smile
- This role will suit a person with previous driving experience (of a van) as the deliveries will be nationally over some long distances with some early morning starts and planned runs to complete in a timely manner
- A good, courteous driving ethic will be essential
- Have a good eye for detail and be able to check goods on and off your vehicle
- Be computer literate and able to view and assist in planning the deliveries, with some use of a mobile tablet to upload POD’s and images
- Be self-motivated and be able to work as part of a small team
- A full clean driving licence would be preferred (No more than 3 points)
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry
· Please, note that full training will be provided to the selected candidates
Responsibilities
- The role will mainly be delivering our bespoke doors and windows on a day to day basis to both residential and commercial properties
- The role will involve loading pre-sorted packages (doors and windows mainly) at our HQ in Huntingdon, then delivering direct to our clients properties, where upon you will be assisting our clients with the unloading/handling of the goods
- You will have a supportive office based team including a hotline to help you in real time whenever you might need assistance on the road
- There will be some warehouse duties (handling goods in and out) as required
