This is a remote position however candidate must be able to accommodate working in Eastern or Central time zone.
Responsibilities
This leader acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to deliver strategic enablement solutions. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
The person in this role devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on Medicaid Clinical IT initiatives. This leader works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules, and goals.
Responsibilities
Lead the technology solution delivery for the Medicaid Clinical Platform
Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to create and execute upon capability roadmaps ensuring technology needs are being met for both short-term and long-term needs. Leverage data to evolve the roadmap and drive continuous improvement that drives Medicaid Clinical capabilities.
Partner closely with product owners and product managers, Solution architecture, strategy team, enterprise security team and supporting IT development partners for executing on the roadmap
Own the delivery of the capability from end to end including the engagement and direction of vendor technology partners.
Build technology expertise both inhouse and by engaging 3rd party resources to deliver upon technology enablement. Understand skillset needed to build a team with the right mix of technical skills and business knowledge to deliver reliable, high quality and innovated solutions leveraging SAFE Agile.
Define & build framework to monitor technical metrics meeting operational SLAs while partnering with Enterprise Site reliability engineering teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes
5+ years of experience in IT, Engineering, and/or Integration Technologies
Possess 5+ years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.
Understanding and experience working with a SaaS vended solution
Experience with agile development and strong DevOps culture.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH)
Ability to communicate effectively with partners across the Enterprise and Senior leaders
Must be passionate about embracing new ways of working contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Experience in the implementation & support of clinical systems
Work-At-Home Requirements

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership.
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
