We are looking for reliable and customer-oriented Food Delivery Drivers to join our team in London.
As a Food Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food orders to our valued customers. You will represent our company, maintain high-quality customer service standards, and contribute to our mission of delivering food happiness.
Working hours: Flexible (Weekends Availability Preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and responsibly operate a company-provided vehicle or your own vehicle (if applicable) to deliver food orders to customers' addresses.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, restaurant staff, and colleagues.
Ensure the accurate and complete delivery of orders, including verifying the order contents and confirming the correct delivery address.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received, ensuring the security of funds at all times.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing safety and responsible driving practices.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues or repairs needed promptly.
Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and schedules for efficiency.
Keep track of daily delivery logs and report any delays or issues to the supervisor.
Uphold food safety standards during transportation to ensure the quality and safety of delivered items.
MUST HAVES:
- Valid UK driver's license (if applicable) with a clean driving record.
- Own a reliable and roadworthy vehicle (HMD will not provide any vehicle).
- Excellent knowledge of local roads, streets, and neighborhoods.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and the ability to follow instructions.
- Adept at using GPS navigation and mobile apps for deliveries.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in food delivery or a related field is a plus.
- You must drive your own Scooter, Vehicle or Bicycle and have upto date insurance.
