Job description
At Higgins event rentals our goal is to service our clients with the highest level of service. We rent everything you could need for a event we deliver and pickup rentals in the Toronto area and occasionally out of town. We are a flexible and positive employer with many shifts and work schedules to suit.
Shift schedule: full time work available and part time work is available
weekend availability is required
Start Date: immediately
Responsibilities
- As a helper you assist the driver in completing rental deliveries and pickups to certain venues and residences in the greater Toronto area. Most deliveries 70% are ground level using a pump truck or dolly to unload.
- Most deliveries consist of glasses and dishes the boxes are light for the most part. Tables and chairs and pre-loaded on dollies or skids and need to be off loaded on site and put into place and setup if told to do so.
- a small part of the deliveries 30% are to loading docks
- Must be able to carry at least 50lbs
salary $17 per hour
There is an opportunity for overtime. Especially during the peak months.
