We are a local, family operated organization called Heart to Home Meals based out of Aurora, Ontario and we are looking for a caring and compassionate driver to join our team with a mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. We committed to supporting seniors who want to remain in their home for as long as possible and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion by providing a meal delivery service that offers great tasting, nutritional food to seniors living in Bradford, York Region, Caledon, Orangeville, and surrounding areas.
At the heart of this position is the relationship between the Delivery Driver and the senior. You do more than just deliver the meals; you care about your customers well-being. You bring kindness, patience, reliability. The Heart to Home Meals Driver works from 8:30am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday and is responsible for delivering frozen meals to seniors living independently in the community. We provide you with training and support so that together we can make a real difference to the lives of the customers that we serve.

Your duties as a Heart to Home Meals Delivery Driver will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional service and reliable meal delivery to seniors in the communities we serve
- You serve as a link between the seniors and the company so you must be able to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Ensure the correct meals are delivered to each customer
- Do the right thing for the customer – whether that means helping them put their meals in their freezer or helping them decide on their meal selection for next week
- Safely operate company vehicle, add fuel and conduct daily vehicle safety checks
- Maintain delivery records and collect COD payments
- Communicate with office to problem solve any delivery issues
- Assemble orders for next day deliveries
The Successful Candidate for this Position Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- We are recruiting for an individual who is proactive, hands-on, supportive, and looking for an environment where the customer is key. You are willing to go “the extra mile” to satisfy the customer
- A current valid G-Class driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance, including daily safety checks
- Exceptional communication and people skills with a genuine interest in and commitment to helping seniors
- Complete a criminal background check
- Able to work well as a team member in a friendly environment that promotes respect and a culture of providing outstanding customer service

Position Type:
We have either Full Time, or Part-time (two or three days a week) opportunities to work with your schedule.
Work Schedule:
Typical daily shifts run Monday to Friday from 8:30am-3:00pm with no Evenings or Weekends
Compensation:
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (plus tips if given by customer) depending on experience
