Job description
Fruits in the City has been operating for over 12 years and supplies high quality fresh fruit boxes, milk and healthy snacks to health-conscious businesses across central Scotland.
Our client base includes: banks, law firms, call centres through to new start-ups. Anywhere from 10 employees into the thousands.
We are urgently looking to recruit an experienced PART TIME multi-drop driver to make deliveries throughout Edinburgh and beyond. Leaving from our Edinburgh depot. Full training provided.
This role is Part-Time on a Monday ONLY. Moves to Tuesday on the appropriate Bank Holiday week of which you must be available.

The successful applicant must be able to:
· Deliver orders to customers efficiently and accurately while working to a tight time schedule.
· Accurately load and unload the van.
· Excellent road knowledge of Edinburgh city centre and beyond (beneficial). Training provided
· Provide customers with a professional and friendly service.
· Experience of fresh fruits preferred (full training given)
· Ability to work unsupervised.
- Have access to a smartphone with Google maps.
· Competent in driving a long wheel transit van.
· Handle all customer orders carefully.
- Be willing to learn about different fruits / ripeness levels and our quality standards.
Applicants must
· Early starts required.
· Be able to get to and from work on time as no company vehicle is supplied.
· Must have a current full UK licence.
· Be presentable and wear the company work wear for all shifts.
· Be able to deal with suppliers and customers.
- Faultlessly reliable.
· Be able to safely lift up to 20kg.
Rate of pay
· £11 per hour. Paid end of each calendar month
Working hours
· Monday *
From 7am – 1pm approx.
*Moves to Tuesday on the appropriate Bank Holiday
Approx 6hrs per week
