FAL Distributors Inc. - A Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking experienced COMMERCIAL truck driving professional for a Part-Time or Full-Time immediate position driving a FedEx Ground Vehicle making deliveries using FedEx Ground Scanner. Driving a car, Uber, or Lyft DOES NOT qualify you for this position! Duties are to load packages in the morning and to deliver to pre-determined areas in Queens, NY. Work day starts at 8:00AM and ends between 4:00PM and 7:00PM - depending on volume (expected delivery stops 150)

You must have minimum 1 FULL year of experience BOTH driving a commercial truck while making deliveries for a COURIER/DELIVERY SERVICE EITHER UPS, FedEx, DHL, AMAZON OR FRESH DIRECT ONLY. 1 year experience must be from your most recent job within last 3 years (from 2020-2023).

COMPENSATION:
Pay increases as you are able to complete your assigned route, typically $800 to $875 per week.

• $800 starting with no experience
• $850 starting with prior experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
You must meet ALL of the following qualifications, or your application will not be accepted. There are no exceptions. YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE. CDL IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED! CLEAN LICENSE FOR 3 YEARS A MUST!

Background screening is required by FedEx -You must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests.

• You must be physically fit and able to lift 150 lbs
• You must be able to work at least one day on the weekend as a part of a rotating 7 day schedule. The schedule is subject to change! (day starts at 8:00AM and ends between 4:00PM and 7:00PM - depending on volume)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ABILITIES:

• Must be reliable, responsible and punctual
• Must work well in team-based environment
• Must be able to stand, drive and lift packages during entire work shift
• Must be able to communicate with customers, in a professional and courteous manner
• Previous route or delivery experience a PLUS

Pay: $800.00 - $875.00 per week
