Job description
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV / 7.5 Tonne Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Work any 5 from 7, start time 6am.
- Operate in a 2 person team with the delivery of furniture and wet installations
- Manual handling various large items and delivering to a room of customer choice
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will Hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card / Hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1) - If you passed your car driving test before 1997 you will have ‘grandfather rights' and automatically be entitled to this / Car/Van Driving Licence (B)
