Devon & Cornwall Logistics are a transport company based in Devon with a Branch in Cornwall providing delivery and collection services across the Southwest. The company partners with several larger organisations providing different services with white and brown goods deliveries being at the centre of everything we do. Due to increased customers' requirements, we are now in search for new members to join our team.
Job Description similar across all contracts.
- deliver/collect brown & white goods and flat pack furniture
- some basic installation may be required
- deliver plumbing supplies to businesses across Devon & Cornwall
- Number of deliveries/collections will vary from 15-50 depending on round and delivery area.
Essential Requirements.
- Vehicle knowledge to carry out daily checks
- training will be give to use scanners
- excellent customers service
- good personal presentation and hygiene
- manual handling will be involved so a need to be physically fit
- Able to pass DBS Check
Hours
- 6.00 to 7.00am depending on round
- Average working hours 45 per week
- overtime paid for hours over 45
- Work days are 5 days per week Monday to Saturday as required
Driving Experience
- At least 3 years driving experience
- 2 years delivery driving
- No more than six points on your licence able to drive 3.5t
- Position is paid weekly by bank transfer. Full training will be provided for successful candidates.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £495.00 per week
