Job Description
Bluebell Dairy is a luxury artisan Ice Cream Producer, distributing our delicious ice creams throughout the region.
We are passionate about our ice cream. We supply a variety of different outlets across the midlands, including stately homes, visitor attractions, restaurants, shops and many more. We are looking for someone to help us care for our products and our customers.
Part of the job will also include helping us at various food fairs and festivals.
A good work ethic, cheerful disposition, excellent customer care skills and good attention to detail whilst working at speed are all necessary to ensure that our customers are given high quality service.
Experience driving vans is preferred but not essential.

Duties:
- Picking and boxing of product ensuring a high degree of accuracy and traceability is maintained.
- Ensuring food safety standards are met during picking, transit and delivery (level 2 Food Hygiene training will be Provided)
- Maintaining a good relationship with our customers
- Approx. 10-20 deliveries per day, driving round pre- set delivery routes ensuring that all orders are delivered in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring deliveries are correctly supplied and signed for
- Ensuring your Vehicle is always clean and tidy
- Completing Daily Checks and maintenance on your vehicle.
- Re Fueling as required
- Some cash handling
- Providing packing assistance to the Ice Cream production team
The Successful candidate will:
- Be friendly and approachable, with excellent customer care skills.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Possess a good track record of reliability.
- Have a very good eye for detail whilst working at speed
- Hold a full, valid Driving Licence which has been held for at least two years or more. Our vans are 3.5 ton in weight
- Be in suitable health, due to the physical nature of the job as heavy lifting is involved.
- Have reached their 25th Birthday to ensure that insurance requirements are complied with.
Hours
This role is Full Time, hours and days will change with the seasons
Ability to be flexible is essential.
Weekends (usually one day) and bank holidays required.
