Bishop's Cellar has been providing world-class wines to Nova Scotians since 2003. As a Delivery Driver, you will work out of our award-winning, boutique shop driving throughout the downtown area. You will be operating a company vehicle to deliver products to our customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers.

What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Delivery Driver, you will pick up the van at our warehouse and then head downtown to our retail location where you will gather orders to be delivered to our customers. You will be expected to follow safety protocols, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process.

Hours: Up to 27 hours per week - Shifts are Thursday, Friday & Saturday from noon to 9 pm

Work Location: Bishop's Cellar Retail Store and on the road around downtown Halifax

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Safely operate and maintain company-owned vehicles
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
• Load, unload, and secure packages in the vehicle
• Follow delivery routes using the GPS navigation program provided
• Provide excellent customer service by courteously interacting with customers at delivery locations.
• Verify the identity and signatures of customers upon delivery, ensuring that products or packages are delivered to the correct recipient.
• Follow established company policies and procedures regarding delivery operations, safety protocols, and customer service.

• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws, routes, and neighbourhoods in the delivery area.
• Excellent driving skills with the ability to safely operate vehicles in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills to interact with customers professionally and courteously.
• Ability to lift and carry packages to a designated weight limit.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Must be 19 years or older. Position requires a Criminal Records Check Completion.
