Job description

We are looking for a Multi Drop Delivery Driver to help our depot in Garforth, Leeds. The role is to deliver stock to customers using a Company vehicle lorry. Driver will require a normal UK driving licence. A Driver should be aware of their responsibilities in providing the highest possible levels of customer service and the priority should be to make timely and accurate deliveries of stock to customers in a company van.

Key Responsibilities

_ Accurately assemble all deliveries and check them at the point of loading them into the van_

_ Deliver the correct stock to customers in a timely manner, checking all stock on delivery in the presence of the customer_

_ Be polite and courteous to customers at all times_

_ Demonstrate an understanding of payment procedures on delivery and follow Company policies relating to this at all times_

_ Gain a signature from the customer on delivery of the stock and file paperwork neatly in the office_

_ Be aware of security issues relating to van use and take adequate steps to safeguard Company property_

_ Drive and park the van legally and responsibly at all times_

_ Read and demonstrate an understanding of the information in the Vehicle section of the Employee Handbook_

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• ls25: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Driving: 5 years (preferred)
• Delivery driver experience: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• UK Driving Licence (required)
