Delivery Driver – 2/3 days per week

The Role

Central Veterinary Services require a Delivery Driver for 2-3 days per week, driving to and from various sites in Suffolk.

There may also be an opportunity to work occasional extra weekdays & Saturdays for holiday cover.

A car/small van is supplied from our base in Elmswell.

The position will start and finish each day at our base in Elmswell.

About Central Veterinary Services

Central Veterinary Services' primary role is to support our own departments and veterinary practices with the many management tasks arising from running and developing the business. The delivery role supports Central Veterinary Services and several local Veterinary Practices.

Principal Areas of Responsibility

The practices will call to arrange deliveries as required: taking food, medication or other items direct to client’s homes

Deliveries between Elmswell office and the practice surgeries.

Following delivery driving route and time schedules

Loading, unloading and preparing

Daily inspection of the delivery vehicle.

Maintaining regular communication with the office

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Hold a full clean driving licence

Due to our insurance company restrictions, you will need to be over 21 years.

It will require a personable team player who is committed to delivering a quality service.

Good timekeeping skills

Flexible and client driven

Desirable:

Previous experience delivery driving

Package

The work is usually between 5 – 8 hours work each day - starting at 8.30.am and finishing at approximately 17:00.pm

The position is a permanent employed position

Holiday pay accrues upon hours worked

Pension scheme is available after qualifying period
