What you’ll do
The role of Fleet Delivery Coordinator is in place to provide a premium order to delivery service experience via a direct online procurement platform to the UK leasing industry.
The role will support the brand objectives in achieving our agreed leasing company delivery volume through our online procurement platform. Through sound product knowledge, solid process management and with compliant operational procedure, the role will be responsible for the successful and premium delivery of Leasing company orders. The role will work closely with our retailer network and Leasing Company customers to fulfil delivery.
The successful candidate will provide a courteous, professional, and premium service to all leasing company purchasing teams ensuring Volvo Car UK delivers expected volumes. Reporting directly into the B2B Delivery Team Leader, you will act as the first point of contact for all leasing deliveries. By providing excellent customer service and communication based upon each customer’s unique needs, you will help inspire leasing partners to choose Volvo.
Your key deliverables will include:
- Building rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication
- Proactively contributing ideas and suggestions for improving our customer’s experience and our processes
- Managing the order through to delivery, utilizing online digital products and our 3rd party procurement platform.
- Working collaboratively with our retailer network to create a seamless omni-channel customer journey and ensure full support of the delivery stage
- Working in partnership with our leasing customers to offer a premium service
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with leasing partners, retailer network, finance and the B2B Order team.
What you‘ll bring
The successful candidate will be:
- An excellent communicator with the ability to engage with several different stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook
- Qualified in Maths and English to GCSE level or equivalent
- Calm under pressure with an organised nature and strong attention to detail
- Motivated by working in a fast-paced, dynamic team with the ability to adapt, manage and meet deadlines.
- Systematic and process-oriented in their ways of working
A knowledge of the needs of both customers and the company and the ability to demonstrate this in their work is also desirable as well as a candidate who takes ownership in all aspects of their role, who can work without close supervision and demonstrate effective self-management. A candidate who can demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and a commitment to self-development would stand in good stead for this role.
