Position Overview:
The Loan Delivery Coordinator is responsible for delivering loans to the prospective investor while meeting deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Electronically deliver closed loans to FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, and third-party investors.
- Monitor daily pipeline to ensure loans are delivered and purchased by deadline dates.
- Establish relationships with agencies, investors, and internal employees to ensure documentation is moving quickly for purchase of loan.
- Notify appropriate individuals of any discrepancies found on loan files.
- Communicate with the investor to ensure accuracy of loan delivery.
- Communicate with the investor to ensure completeness of loan file.
- Organize notes on every loan and disposition of the loan status.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years mortgage lending experience or equivalent coursework including extensive knowledge of required documentation needed for each type of loan.
- Excellent communication skills with internal employees and external investors.
- Excellent analytical skills: attention to detail is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
