We have been trading on the Island of Ireland since 2003 by opening our first shop in Naas with Polish products under the name Polonez. It was one of the first shops in Ireland providing Polish people with Polish food. Since then, we grew up to 37 stores across Ireland and UK promoting food from Central and Eastern European countries. We have been developing product range to meet the ongoing tastes of our diverse population and encouraging our customers to discover the taste of the different food cultures.
As our business grows, so do the opportunities for our people. Therefore, we are always looking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are passionate about the food and customer service. Our retail stores are busy places so you will need to enjoy working in a high performance, target driven environment.
Currently we are seeking to hire Sales Assistant and Deli Assistant to join our team in Ballymena.

As a Sales Assistant you'll be involved in everything from checking off deliveries to dealing with customer queries and ensuring that the shelves are always fully stocked.
As a Deli Assistant you'll be involved in everything from serving deli food products to customers while maintaining high standards of safety, sanitation, and customer service to assisting customers with products and recommendation.

- Ability to Adapt & Prioritize Across Multiple Tasks and Unexpected Situations
- Working well with others and be a team player
- Be willing to learn and develop yourself, have a desire to succeed and to contribute to our positive team environment as well as promoting our brand.
- Assist Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
- Experience in sales is preferred.
- Speaking one of the Eastern European languages (Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, Lithuanian, Croatian, etc.) as an advantage
You must be fully flexible and available to work from Monday till Sunday including bank holidays.
