Job description
We are looking to recruit an experienced full time Pharmacy Counter Assistant for our busy local independent pharmacy in St Vincent Street, Glasgow. The successful applicant should have a pleasant helpful manner with a positive can do attitude and be happy to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities include safely distributing prescriptions to customers, cash handling and cash up, responding to customer queries, and selling over the counter medicine with care and accuracy. Also required to do local pickup and deliveries on foot to patients and doctors surgeries.
- 1 years pharmacy counter experience is ESSENTIALfor this position.
- Have experience in working in a similar pharmacy job roles.
- Be passionate in providing the best in class service to all patients.
- Experience with Cegedim Pharmacy Manager system is desirable but not necessary.
- Be flexible in supporting the business and be forward thinking.
Progression to become a Pharmacy Dispenser is part of the development plan for this role for the right candidate.
This is a full time permanent position.
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm with an hours lunch break.
- 4 weeks annual leave + 9BH allowance.
- Opportunity to achieve a performance bonus every 6 months of up to 10%.

Salary dependent on previous experience starting at a minimum of £10.75 per hour up to £11 per hour.
